Children’s and sensitive information Where learner information relates to minors, GIYA processes such information with appropriate parental, guardian, or school-based authority where required. GIYA does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for educational delivery, safeguarding, legal compliance, or authorised support purposes.
How GIYA uses personal information GIYA may use personal information to create and manage accounts, deliver courses and learner experiences, process payments, communicate with users, support learner participation, improve the platform, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and provide updates where users have agreed to receive them.
Lawful basis for processing GIYA processes personal information where necessary to deliver services, manage user relationships, operate and secure the platform, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate educational and operational interests in a fair and lawful way.
Where consent is required, GIYA will rely on consent and users may withdraw it where applicable. Marketing communications GIYA may send updates, announcements, or promotional communications where users have consented or where such communication is otherwise permitted by law.
