Young Entrepreneurs Academy - Grade 4 to 6 - Entrepreneurial Leadership

Empowering Young Learners with Entrepreneurial Skills, Leadership, and Financial Literacy

Course Summary

Course Title: Young Entrepreneurs Academy (Ages 10–12)
Global Impact Youth Academy | 100% Online | Proprietary Curriculum

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a six-month program designed to introduce children aged 10 to 12 to the core principles of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, problem-solving, marketing, financial literacy, and leadership. This is not a typical business course—it is an engaging, hands-on, and interactive curriculum that empowers young learners to transform their ideas into tangible projects and ventures. Through a combination of video-based lessons, world-first storytelling, and real-world projects, students will develop the entrepreneurial skills they need to succeed today and in the future.

The Problem It Solves
Traditional education systems often focus on absorbing information without providing students with the tools to create, innovate, or lead. While students may learn facts, they are rarely taught how to build businesses, turn ideas into reality, or market products effectively. Without a clear understanding of how to manage ideas and resources, young learners miss the chance to develop the critical entrepreneurial skills necessary in today’s economy.  The Young Entrepreneurs Academy bridges this gap by introducing children to the world of entrepreneurship during their most formative years. This course will ensure they don’t just perform in school but are also equipped to launch ideas and create opportunities outside of the classroom.

Why This Program Matters
Entrepreneurship is about more than just starting a business. It’s about thinking creatively, solving problems, and taking action. The Young Entrepreneurs Academy helps students:  Develop critical thinking skills to evaluate and create opportunities.  Learn to manage resources, create budgets, and make financial decisions.  Build confidence to present ideas and lead projects.  Foster collaboration by working with peers and mentors.  Embrace innovation and learn to adapt in a changing world.  By the end of the course, students will have gained the skills needed to create a product or service, develop a business plan, and present their ideas to others. These foundational skills will be useful not just in business, but in every aspect of their lives.

Pedagogical Foundation
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is designed with a focus on active learning, hands-on experiences, and real-world application. It draws from various educational theories, including:  Project-based learning where students work on real-world entrepreneurial projects.  Design thinking techniques to help students think creatively and strategically.  Financial literacy and business management principles adapted for young learners.  Collaborative learning to build teamwork and leadership skills.  The curriculum is grounded in GIYA’s proprietary Think-to-Create™ Framework, guiding students from idea generation to the final business plan and presentation.

Program Design
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy spans six months, with each month divided into four weekly modules. Every week introduces a distinct aspect of entrepreneurship, delivered through a blend of the following modalities:
Video Lesson: Professionally narrated, concept-driven lessons modeled after Ivy League-style mini-lectures (3-5 minutes, visually engaging, and curiosity-driven).
Audio Story: A world-first storytelling experience that dramatizes lesson concepts through characters and real-world scenarios.
eBook: A structured guidebook with practical exercises, idea scaffolding, and challenges.
Affirmation PDF: Positive, mindset-building phrases to help reinforce learner agency, perseverance, and resilience.
Quiz: Formative assessments to measure understanding, reinforce learning, and celebrate deep thought.  Each lesson is student-led, reflective, and developmentally aligned to ensure an engaging learning experience.
