Course Summary

Design Thinking & Innovation: Ivy League Inspired Approach for Digital Product Leaders (Ages 16+) Global Impact Youth Academy | 100% Online | Proprietary Curriculum

The six-month Design Thinking & Innovation lab targets youth aged 16 and above to develop the essential mindsets and methods required for digital product leadership mastery. This program represents a strict framework for real-world problem-solving that meets the demands of today's economy rather than being a creative supplement or optional course. The course combines principles from Ivy Leagues’s interdisciplinary design studios and GIYA’s Future Leaders™ Framework to teach learners how to develop innovative products through empathetic building and impactful leadership. Students develop essential skills for innovation through strategic video lessons and practical product challenges while utilizing feedback loops to transition from initial insights to final product launches that address real-world challenges.

The Problem It Solves
Young people often encounter the question “What do you want to be?” yet they seldom receive instruction on creating things that do not currently exist. Traditional education separates study areas while rewarding precise answers and punishing mistakes. The innovation sector relies on interdisciplinary collaboration and iterative processes to achieve tangible impacts. This program bridges that gap. The course trains students to approach problems systemically while designing with user-centric methods and developing scalable solutions. Students gain the ability to create technological advancements beyond consuming them.

Why This Program Matters
Innovation is no longer optional. The ability to design our future will determine who controls tomorrow. This course provides: A full-cycle toolkit for human-centered innovation Students gain the ability to direct ideation sessions and product sprints through this program. Students will learn how to build digital solutions by applying practical real-world techniques.
